Watch the Youtube clip below to see how fast the future is bearing down upon us….as educators we have to embrace the world as it is and let go of our tenacious hold on the past that makes us feel safe!
It is our responsibility as the educators of this current generation to find a way to bring the world in which we live (that’s all of us – not just the “Digital Natives”) into the classroom…
Whilst this clip is about commercial applications imagine what you could do in the classroom…How much fun could this be??

Hi Annie,
That said I am in total agreement that as teachers we must make learning relevant for the modern world that we live in (more ambitiously/idealistically schools need to be ahead of the technology curve). Integrating technology is an essential aspect of this, what we need is considerably more funding to schools to ensure the technology is available and teachers trained to effectively use it.

Tested again and still not having any issues – had someone else do it also and no problems…try using Firefox as your browser and see if that makes a difference.

Hi Annie,
There seems to be a problem with the embed code and IE7. I have tried to view your clip (and others) on several computers with IE and it just comes up with a white box with a scroll bar on the right.
It seems to work fine on Firefox for those that have it.
